Today’s Thought's:
1 Peter 5:6-7: "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s Mighty Hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Having cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares about you." This verse came to me as I was researching different scripture about family who are suffering. But not just family members but those that I know who are going through the emotions of relationship breakups and other things. Now I’m not writing this post to ask for, ya know, pity or something but just to say what the Bible says about what we can do with our anxiety. I’ve gone through some anxiety spells because of my disability but lately with the health issues from a couple of family members and some other personal struggles my heart has been very hard lately. I don’t express my emotions very much because that’s just not my personality, many call myself an emotionalless robot! Just trying to add some humor in a post that can come across as dark and not upbeat but it’s just something that I’ve had on my mind. The Apostle Peter is writing this for the sake that whatever anxieties that we’re going through that we have a Heavenly Father who will be there for us and will get us through these times because of the love that he has for us. This is comforting because only through Him can we have a sense of how much he loves us.
