from brokenness to boldness: my story

Most people see a wheelchair and assume limitation. I see it as a pulpit.

My name is Logan E. Cannon, and my life changed in an instant in 2014 when I became a quadriplegic. But what should have ended my story became the spark for a greater one. The chair didn’t stop me—it redirected me. God took my greatest pain and turned it into my greatest platform.

Before the accident, I had plans. After it, I had purpose.

A young man in a hospital bed connected to medical equipment with eyes closed and head slightly tilted.
A young man in a motorized wheelchair speaking inside a church or auditorium. Behind him is a sign that reads 'REMEMBRANCE OF ME'.

What Drives Me

I don’t wake up every day without challenges—physically, emotionally, spiritually. But what I do wake up with is hope, calling, and a fire to preach the Gospel.

I’m currently pursuing my Master of Divinity in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry, with a vision to reach others—especially those facing adversity—with the truth that God still uses broken vessels to carry living water.

I’ve learned that ministry isn’t always behind a pulpit. Sometimes, it’s in hospital rooms, rehab centers, one-on-one conversations, and yes—even blog posts.

Who I Am (When I’m Not Preaching)

I’m an avid Florida Gators fan through and through

I’ve got a heart for young adults, those who feel stuck in life’s in-betweens

I love laughter, especially when it’s loud and unexpected

I enjoy time with family, even if they’re the reason I get dropped on the cruise ship floor from time to time (true story)

I’m a storyteller, not just through my memoir (The Wheelchair Pulpit), but through everyday moments that show God’s hand in the details

What I Belive

What I Belive

  • Jesus Christ is the only way, the only truth, and the only source of real hope

  • Grace is greater than your past

  • Your story matters—especially the parts you didn’t plan

  • You don’t have to walk to walk in purpose
